Slowing down the pace of the meal will give your body time  to send the signal that you are full before you begin over eating.

Rather than trying to get rid of these feelings by eating more, drink plenty of water throughout the day so that when you do feel hunger, it really is hunger.

Avoid junk food, it only adds sugar, salt and very little nutrition

The more junk food you eat, the more junk food you will crave. Fatty and sugary foods also do not provide the nutrients that bodies need most. Additionally, you will mistake your body’s cry for nutrition with feelings of hunger. Hence, eating a healthier diet will help you feel better.

If you must have sweet snacks, eat dark chocolate instead

    Choose proteins over carbohydrates

Adding protein into your diet will prevent you from feeling hungry throughout the day. Carbohydrates digest fast. Hence they make you feel full quickly.
